Framer's Extra-Small Chihuahua Named “Tiny” Herds Animals Just As Well, If Not Better Than Any Other Shepherding Dog Breed

What kind of dogs were bred for breeding? Every dog was bred by us humans for some sort of helpful purpose. Great Pyrenees are livestock guards, Dachshunds were bred to hunt those tiny little burrowing creatures, and Border Collies were bred to herd livestock. So what were chihuahuas bred for? Their purpose goes so much deeper than tasks needed for manual labor.

Chihuahuas were bred before modern society was even a glimmer in humanity's eyes. Back in Mesopotamian civilizations, they bred Chihuahuas for spiritual, ceremonial, and companion roles. These tiny little pups were guides of the universe. They helped you converse with your ancestors and some would even be buried next to their humans to help guide them through the afterlife. Can you imagine? Instead of the Reaper, it's a tiny little dog with pointy ears taking you to wherever you gotta go next. I would 1,000% follow; they don't even need to tell me who they are. If a dog wants me to follow, I follow. No questions asked!

Maybe due to their high status in Mesopotamia, they were gifted with high intelligence, because it turns out they can be better farm dogs than actual farm dogs!
Take Tiny the Cowdog: This itty bitty Chihuahua looks like any other toy dog. He appears to always be shaking, his ears are perked as if he can hear your soul saying scary things, and he's a cutie patootie. Think Paris Hilton's purse dog, or Bruiser Woods from Legally Blonde. However, Tiny is blue-collar at heart. This tiny creature doesn't seem to be afraid of anything, even cows, pigs, and sheep that are bigger than him!
You can see this when his owner spots some goats in a pasture and instructs him to go out there and guide them back into their pen. And guess what? Tiny does just that! With ease, even.

Turns out he isn't the only Chihuahua who has blue-collar skills. Many TikTokers have flooded the comments section with examples of their tiny toy dog taking control of the farm. They become the one in charge of all of the farm animals. Some even add that their Chihuahuas worked better than their purebred Border Collies, who weren't meant to be the herders of the family.
Tiny, unlike some bigger dogs, can herd animals of any size, that means not just cows and donkeys, but also chickens and rabbits. The farmer, his humans, posts these videos of him herding like a pro with such pride.

Many viewers are just excited to see this little guy living his biggest ego dream. In fact, one person even says this is the perfect setup for a children's book. It doesn't matter what size you are; you can do anything if you put your mind to it! Tiny is definitely the protagonist of that beautiful mentality.

Yee-haw, Tiny! You show those farm animals who is boss. Some videos even show him herding a horse 100x his size! And the horse seems truly concerned. Maybe not concerned like, “is this thing going to eat me?!” But more concerned like, “wot in tarnation? I'm so confused, I don't want to mess with this!” Sometimes you gotta fake it 'til you make it.
